Very informative, educational and entertaining site. Do you know of any casinos that offer multiple hand (3,5 or 10) Super Times Pay with a 9/6 Jacks or better or 8/5 Bonus Video Poker? I have already checked VPfree2, but they only show the pay table for the base game.
Sorry, but we can’t be of help to you on that topic. However, I believe that vpfree2 will show you if that game if is available in multi-hand formats. Since you are looking for full-pay video poker games on Super Times Pay, I don’t think you will find it because the Super Times Pay feature adds to the overall payback percentage of the game and casinos would not want to offer such a good game. For example, on 9/6 Jacks or Better the return would increase from 99.54% to 99.82%
Hi,
Why does WinPoker 6 show the 9/K/Q/J as the best mathematically correct hand to play? I would play the 3 high cards instead, but that selection is the next best hand.
What am I missing?
The 5 cards dealt by the program are the four above and a 5 of clubs. The suits are as follows: 9 diamonds, K hearts, Q clubs, J diamonds, 5 clubs.
Thanks!
9/K/Q/J is one of the few inside straights that you keep. By keeping all 4 cards you can improve to a straight and that raises the overall ER (expected return) higher than just keeping the three high cards.
